I think the 4th term from the end is 58...

d is not -3 but its 3 else all correct...
because-8-(-11) = -8+11 = 3 = d
also a is given as -11
else before 49 also '_' sign would be there..

a = -11
d = 3
let the term be n
so, a+(n-1)d = l
or, -11 + (n-1) 3 = 49
or, (n-1) 3 = 49+11
or, n-1 = 60/3
or, n = 20+1
or, n = 21
4th term from end = 21-3 = 18 (we will not count term itself)
so the term is =a+(n-1)d = -11+(18-1)3 = -11+17*3 = -11+51 = 40.....
Ans. 40
