Given A. P : -11, -8, -5 ... 49

From this A. P,

 \tt{a = -11 } \\ </p><p> \tt{a_n = 49}

d = -8 - (-11)

d = 3

Arranging the A. P in the following way,

49.. -5, -8, -11

From this,

 \tt{a = 49} \\ </p><p> \tt{a_n = -11}

d = -3

As we know,

 \boxed {\tt{a_n = a + (n - 1) d }}

 \tt{a_4 = 49 + (4 - 1) × (- 3)}

= 49 - 9

 \tt{a_4= 40}

Thus, Last 4th term is 40.
