d = -8 - (-11)

d = 3

Arranging the A. P in the following way,

49.. -5, -8, -11

From this,

$\tt{a = 49} \\ </p><p> \tt{a_n = -11}$

d = -3

As we know,

$\tt{a_4 = 49 + (4 - 1) × (- 3)}$
