Explanation:

Acceleration=

v2 - v1 \div time

=>40-20/5sc

So the acceleration is 4m/s.

Hope it will help you.

◉ Initial velocity is 20m/s

◉ Final velocity is 40m/s

◉ Time take is 5 sec

◉ Acceleration of body

[In the given formula, v is final velocity, u is initial velocity and t is time]

Using the given formula of Acceleration =====>

Acceleration \:  =  \frac{v - u}{t}  \\  \\  =  >  \frac{40 - 20}{5}  \\  \\  =  >  \frac{20}{5}  \\  \\  =  > 4m/s2

Hence, the acceleration is 4m/
