\bf{\underline{\overline{\pink{Given :-}}}}

  • Velocity = 135 km/h

  • Time = 2 sec

\bf{\underline{\overline{\purple{To\: Find :-}}}}

  • Acceleration (m/s)

\bf{\underline{\overline{\red{Solution :-}}}}

Velocity in m/s

135 × 5/18

⇒ 45 × 5/6

⇒ 225/6

⇒ 75/2

Now,

A = v/t

Where

A = Acceleration

v = velocity

t = time

A = (75/2)/2

A = 75/2 × 1/2

A = 75 × 1/2 × 2

A = 75/4

Thus,

Acceleration is \bold{75/4 m/s².}

Solution :-

  • By the given information ,

  • Velocity = 135 km/h
  • Time taken = 2s

Here the given final velocity is in km/h , so we have to convert into SI units (m/s) .

  • ♦ 135 km/h × 5/18 = Velocity in m/s

  • ♦ 75/2 = Velocity in m/s

  • ♦ Velocity in m/s = 37.5

Now , as we know that

Acceleration = Velocity/Time

⇒ Acceleration = 37.5/2

⇒ Acceleration = (75/2)/2

⇒ Acceleration = 75/2 × 1/2

⇒ Acceleration = 75/4

  • Hence , acceleration of the cheetah = 75/4 m/
