we know that all the sides of a rhombus are equal
so its each side or base will be equal to perimeter divided by four.
each side= 36/4 cm= 9cm

since rhombus is a parallelogram its area will be half X base X altitude

in this sum let the altitude be X cm
so by the problem
1/2× 9× X = 22.4
X= 22.4× 2/9
X= 4.98
