find the altitude of an equilateral triangle whose each side is 8 cm

shreyans13: we it is an equilateral triangle so it's angle is 60,divide the triangle into two parts and take one part for the calculation,(sin60=(height or altitude/4))
shreyans13: by doing this thing you will get altitude
sarika111: sry
shreyans13: sin60=height/8
sarika111: that was wrong
shreyans13: hence height =8× sin 60
shreyans13: yeah,thats why I correct it
shreyans13: ans is 6.928

sarika111: as sides are 8cm 8cm 8cm. by Pythagorean theorem we can say that 8^2 = 4^2+ x^2. =64 = 16 + x^2. = 64 - 16 = x^2
sarika111: Yes. up r right
sarika111: up*uh
