all sides of rhombus are same
so perimeter = 4 × side
140 .=4 × side
140/4=side
35= side

area = Base ×height
420 = 35 × h
420/35 = h
12 cm = height

Given - Area and perimeter

Find - Altitude

Solution - The altitude of the rhombus is 12 centimetres.

The perimeter of the rhombus is given by the formula - 4*side

Side of rhombus = 140/4

Side of rhombus = 35 centimetres

Now, the area of the rhombus is given by the formula = base * altitude

420 = 35*altitude

Altitude = 420/35

Altitude = 12 centimetres

Thus, the altitude of the rhombus is 12 centimetres.
