Find the amount 5% more than 600.​

Step 1 :- Take 5% of 600

5\% \: of \: 600 =  \frac{5}{100}  \times 600

 = 30

Step 2:- Add 5% of 600 to 600.

600 + 30 = 630

Therefore, 630 is 5% more than 600.

Now , the required number = 600+30 = 630 (Ans)

Method (2)

we know that, a value at total is equal to = 100%

Question is asking 5% more .

It means he is asking 105% .

so,

100% ------------- 600

105% ------------- 630 (Ans)
