Answer:

amount = 64000(1+12/100)³

= 64000 ×( 112 /100 )³

= 89915.39

ci = a - p

= 89915.39 - 64000

= 25915.39 rupees

hope it helps

Given:-

  • Principal = Rs. 64000.
  • Time period = 3 years.
  • Rate of interest = 12%.

To find:-

  • Amount
  • Compound interest.

Solution:-

  • For Amount :

We know that,

 \large \boxed{ \sf Amount = P{(1 +  \dfrac{r}{100}) }^{n} }

In which,

  • P is principal.
  • r is Rate of interest.
  • n is time period.

P = Rs. 64000.

n = 3 years.

r = 12%.

Put all values,

 \implies \sf 64000 \times  {(1 +  \dfrac{12}{100} )}^{3}

 \implies \sf 64000 \times  {( \dfrac{100 + 12}{100} })^{3}

 \implies \sf 64000 \times  {( \dfrac{112}{100} )}^{3}

 \implies \sf 640 \cancel{00} \times  \dfrac{112}{1 \cancel{00}}  \times  \dfrac{112}{100}  \times  \dfrac{112}{100}

 \implies \sf  \dfrac{899153920}{10000}

 \implies \sf  89915.392

Amount = Rs. 89915.392

  • For compound interest :

We also know that

 \large \boxed{ \sf Compound\: interest = Amount - Principal}

So,

 \implies \sf  89915.392-64000

 \implies \sf  25915.392

Compound interest = Rs. 25915.392

Therefore,

Amount is Rs. 89915.392.

Compound interest is Rs. 25915.392
