Find the amount of current flowing in a conductor in which a charge of 20 mC flows through it for 2 minutes.

I = Q / t

= 20 x 10^-6 / 10 x 10^-9

cancel out the factor of 10 in “20” and “10”

= 2 x 10^-6 / 10^-9

cancel out some more

= 2 / 10^-3

= 2/0.001 = 2 x 1000 = 2000 amps
