Answer:Solution:

GIVEN:

Current (I)= 0.25 A

Time(t)= 20 min

t= 20 × 60= 1200 seconds

[1 minute= 60 seconds]

We know that,

I = Q/t

0.25 = Q/1200

Q= 0.25 × 1200

Q= 300 C

Hence, the amount of electric charge that flows through the circuit is 300 coulombs.

S O L U T I O N :

\underline{\bf{Given\::}}

  • Current, (i) = 0.25 Ampere
  • Time, (t) = 2 minutes

\underline{\bf{Explanation\::}}

As we know that formula of the current;

\boxed{\bf{Current\:,(i) = \frac{q}{t} }}

→ Time = 2 minutes

→ Time = 2 × 60  [1 min. = 60 seconds]

→ Time = 120 seconds

Now,

As we know that formula of the electric charge;

\boxed{\bf{Electric\:charge\:,(q) = i \times t }}

\mapsto\tt{Electric\:charge = i \times t}

\mapsto\tt{Electric\:charge = 0.25 \times 120}

\mapsto\bf{Electric\:charge = 30\:C}

Thus,

The amount of electric charge will be 30 Coulomb .

Note :

The unit of electric current is ampere or coulomb/sec.
