Specific heat capacity for ice = 0.5 cal / g / deg
Heat of fusion for water = 80 cal / g
Specific heat capacity for water = 1 cal / g / deg
For 1 gram:
-10 ice -> 0 ice : 1* 0.5 * 10 = 5 cal
0 deg. ice -> 0 deg. water = 1* 80 cal
0 deg water to 20 deg water: 1*1.0*20 = 20 cal
= 105 cal.
Total for 1 gram : 105 cal, for 20 grams = 2100 cal
in joule, multiply with 4.2 = 8820 Joule
