Let the angle of incidence and angle of reflection be x°. (as they are always equal)
The normal ray is always perpendicular to the surface.
That's why,
x° + 35° = 90°
90° - x° = 35° ______(1)
Now on the other side, it should be like this :-
x° + (?)° = 90°
So, that's why,
90° - x° = (?)°
Putting the value of 90° - x° from equation (1) we get,
(?)° = 35°
So now,
35° + x° + x° + 35° = 180° (Linear pair of angles)
70° + 2x° = 180°
2x = 180° - 70°
2x = 110°
x = 110 / 2
x = 55°
Hence, the angle of incidence = 55°
And, the angle of reflection = 55°
Hope it helps...❤️
