angle of incident is always equal to the angle of reflection
so,
angle of reflection =40°

jennifer35: but the and is 50
jennifer35: ans*
SahilYadav03: Answer could be wrong

since angle of incidence is equal to the angle of reflection the second law of reflection the angle of reflection will also make an angle of 40° with the plane mirror when the angle of incidence makes an angle of 40°

jennifer35: but the answer is 50°
jennifer35: because the incident Ray with plane surface together makes 40° so if we do 90-40 we get 50°which is angle of incidence . so according to the second law of reflection the angle of reflection will be 50°
