Given,

The twice of the complement of the main angle is 100° less than the four times of it's complement angle.

To find,

The value of the main angle.

Solution,

Let, the main angle = x°

(Assume x as a variable to do the further mathematical calculations.)

Complement of the main angle = (90-x)°

Twice of the complement angle = 2×(90-x) = (180-2x)°

Four times of the complement angle = 4×(90-x) = (360-4x)°

According to the data mentioned in the question,

(360-4x)-100 = 180-2x

360-4x-100 = 180-2x

360-100-180 = 4x-2x

360-280 = 2x

2x = 80

x = 40

Hence, the value of the main angle is 40°.
