Step-by-step explanation:

In this solution, the one supplement angle is taken by X and twice of supplement angle is 2X. So that it remains two supplement that is measured by angle at 180 degree and then consider it as X x+2x=180°, 3x=180°, x=180÷3=60°, 2×60=120°. Therefore, two supplement angles takes place by 180 degree.

thank you

Definition:

Supplementary Angles:

Two Angles are Supplementary when they add up to 180°.

For Example:

  • 100° and 80°,
  • 20° and 160°, etc.

Question:

Find the angle which is double of it's supplement.

Assumption:

Let the angle be x, and the other angle be 2x.

Answer:

x + 2x = 180°

or, 3x = 180°

 \large {\rm {or, \: x =  \frac{180}{3} = 60°}}

x = 60°

2x = 120°

Hence, the angle is 120°.
