hey mate

If p(y)=y square

If p(y)=y square-2y+5, find p(2)

Solution:--

p(y)= y²-2y+5. ...(1)

put y=2 in (1)

so,

p(2) = 2²-2×2+5

p(2)= 4-4+5

p(2)= 5
