Let the point on x- axis be C(x,0).

A--◆[2,-5], B--◆[-2,9]

So , as C is equidistant from A and B.

AC = BC.

AC^2 = BC^2.

=>(2 -x)^2 + (0+5)^2 = (x+2)^2 + (9-0)^2.【using distance formula】

=> 4 + x^2 - 4x + 25= x^2 + 4 +4x + 81.

=> 29 - 4x = 85 + 4x

=> 8x = -56.

=> x = -7.

so, the points on x- axis are( -7,0)
