Common difference ( d) = -3

Putting the value of d in eq 1

a + 4(-3) = 5

a = 5+12

a1 = 17

a2 = a+d = 17 -3

a2 = 14

a3 = a +2d = 17 + 2(-3)

a3 = 17 -6 = 11

a4 = a+3d = 17 +3(-3)

a4 = 8

a5 = 5

AP = 17, 14, 11, 8 ,5 .....
