Diameter d = 9cm

Radius r = d÷2

r = \frac{9}{2} cm

Area of circle =

\pi \: {r}^{2} \\ = \frac{22}{7} \times \frac{9}{2} \times \frac{9}{2} \\ = \frac{11 \times 81}{7 \times 2} \\ = \frac{891}{14} {cm}^{2}

Circumference of circle =2πr
=2×22÷7×9÷2
=22×9/7
=198/7 cm
