Given

We have given diagonal of square is 7√2cm

To Find

we have to find area and perimeter of square

\sf\huge\bold{\underline{\underline{{Solution}}}}

If diagonal of square is given and we have to find area then apply this formula:

Area of square=1/2d²

Area of square= (7√2)²÷2

Area of square= 49×2÷2

Area of square= 98÷2

Area of square=49cm²

Now ,we know that area of square is (side)²

=>(side)²=49

=>side =√49

=>side =7cm

We have side of square= 7cm

and we know that all sides of square are equal.

So, perimeter of square= 4×side

=>Perimeter of square= 4× 7cm= 28cm

Perimeter of square= 28cm

Area of square= 49cm²
