Answer :-

  • The area of triangle is 60cm².
  • The area of triangle is 6000cm².

Step-by-step explanation :

To Find :-

  • The area of triangle in centimetre square

Solution:

Formula used :-

  • Area of triangle = 1/2 × base × height,

According the question,

  • Base = 15cm and Altitude = 8cm

As we know that,

Area of triangle = 1/2 × base × height, therefore

=> Area = 1/2 × 15 × 8

=> Area = 1 × 15 × 4

=> Area = 15 × 4

=> Area = 60

The area of triangle is 60cm².

  • Base = 1.5m and Altitude = 0.8m

First we need to convert 1.5m and 0.8m to centimetres,

=> 1.5m = 150cm

=> 0.8m = 80cm

Now, As we know that,

Area of triangle = 1/2 × base × height, therefore,

=> Area = 1/2 × 150 × 80

=> Area = 1 × 150 × 40

=> Area = 6000

The area of triangle is 6000cm².

Solution A :-

Given :

  • Base of the Triangle = 15cm
  • Height of the Triangle = 8cm

To Find :

  • Area of Triangle

Solution :

➞ Area of Triangle = ½ × Base × Height

➞ Area of Triangle = ½ × 15 × 8

➞ Area of Triangle = 15 × 4

➞ Area of Triangle = 60cm²

Therefore, Area of the Triangle is 60cm²

Solution B :-

Given :

  • Base of the Triangle = 1.5m = 150cm
  • Height of the Triangle = 0.8m = 80cm

To Find :

  • Area of Triangle

Solution :

➞ Area of Triangle = ½ × Base × Height

➞ Area of Triangle = ½ × 150 × 80

➞ Area of Triangle = 150 × 40

➞ Area of Triangle = 600cm²

Therefore, Area of the Triangle is 600cm²
