Answer:

The Area of circle is 154 cm².

Step-by-step explanation:

SOLUTION :

Given :

Circumference of the circle = 44cm

Circumference of the circle = 2πr

2πr = 44cm

2 × 22/7 × r = 44

44r/7 = 44

r = (44 ×7)/44

r = 7 cm

Area of circle,A = πr²

A = 22/7 × 7 × 7

A = 22 × 7

A = 154 cm²

Area of circle = 154 cm²

Hence, Area of circle is 154 cm².

ANSWER

Circumference of circle = 2πr

 =  > 44 = 2\pi \: r

 =  > r =  \frac{44}{2\pi}

 =  > r =  \frac{44}{2}  \times  \frac{7}{22}

 =  r = 7cm

Area of circle

 = \pi {r}^{2}

 =  \frac{22}{7}  \times 7 \times 7

 = 22 \times 7

 = 154 {cm}^{2}
