Given:-

  • Diameter of the circle is 18.2cm.

To Find:-

  • Find the area of the circle.

Concept used:-

  • Concept used here is Area of the circle.

  • As the values are given in the question,just substitute it in the equation and solve it.

Formulae Applied:-

  • Area of a circle = πr^2

Solution:-

Given that,

Diameter of the circle is 18.2cm.

Radius = Diameter/2

= 18.2/2

= 9.1

= 9.1cm

Radius of the circle is 9.1cm.

Area = ??

According to the question we have,

Area of a circle = πr^2

= πr^2

= 22/7 × 9.1 × 9.1

= 22 × 1.3 × 9.1

= 260.26

= 260.26cm^2

Hence,

The area of the circle is 260.26cm^2.
