Given :-

  • Find the area of a parallelogram PQRS,if PR=24 cm and QU=ST=8 cm.

To Find :-

The Area Of The Parallelogram PQRS

Formula Used :-

\bigstar Using Base and Height :

\dashrightarrow \sf\boxed{\bold{\pink{A = b × h}}}\\

Solution :-

Given Equation :

  • PR = 24cm

  • QU=ST=8cm

  \small\sf\implies \: Area \:  Of \:  The \:  Triangle \: PQR =  \frac{1}{2}  \\

\small\sf\implies \frac{1}{2} ÷24÷8 \\

\small\sf\implies96cm^{2}

\small\sf\implies \: Now  \: In \:  Triangle \:  PQRS

ST = 8cm

PR = 24cm

  \small\sf\implies \: Area \:  Of \:  The \:  Triangle \: PRS=  \frac{1}{2}  \\

\small\sf\implies \frac{1}{2} ÷24÷8 \\

\small\sf\implies96cm^{2}

 \small\red{ \boxed{\sf{Area  \: Of \:  Parallelogram=Area \:  Of \:   \: Triangle  \: PQR+ Area  \: Of \:  Triangle \:  PRS}}}

So, The Area Of The Parallelogram

 \sf\therefore=96+96=192 cm²
