The mass of a planet 24x10²⁴ Kg and the other planet is 12 X 10²⁰kg are situated 12 km apart. Calculate the force exerted by the planets on each other​

We know gravitational force between two masses is given as-

F=Gm1m2/r^2

where,G=gravitational constant=6.67*10^-11N.m^2/kg^2

m1=mass of planet one=24x10²⁴ Kg

m2=mass of planet second=12 X 10²⁰kg

r=seperation distance=12km=12000m

So,F=(6.67*10^-11N.m^2/kg^2)(24x10²⁴ Kg)(12 X 10²⁰kg)/(12000m)^2=1.334*10^28N

Therefore the force excerted by the planet on each other is 1.334*10^28N
