Area of quadrant of circle=

 \frac{1}{4}  \times  \frac{22}{7}  \times  {r}^{2}  =  \frac{22}{4 \times 7}  \times  {( \frac{7}{2} )}^{2}  =  \\  \frac{22 \times 7 \times 7}{4 \times 7 \times 2 \times 2}  =  \frac{77}{8}  \:  {cm}^{2}  \\ ans.
