find the area of a quadrilateral, if the length of one of its diagonals is 56 cm and the perpendicular distance from the other two vertices to this diagonal are 30 cm and 42cm

Area of quadrilateral= 1/2 ×diagonal× sum of perpendicular distances

Area = 1/2×56cm×(30+42cm)

2 cut with 56cm then we get 28cm(it is rough don't write it on fair note book)

Area= 28cm×72cm2

Area= 2016cm2
