Answer:

60.5cm^2

Step-by-step explanation:

in∆ABC,

AB=8,BC=6, AC=10

BY HERONS FORMULA,

S=a+b+c/2

S=8+6+10/2

=24/2=12

now,

AREA=S(S-A)(S-A)(S-C)

=√12(12-8)(12-6)(12-10)

√12*4*6*2

√576

24cm^2

in∆ADC

AD=10 ,DC=8 ,AC=10

BY HERONS FORMULA,

S=a+b+c/2

S=10+10+8/2

=28/2=14

AREA=√S(S-A)(S-A)(S-C),

=√14(14-8)(14-10)(14-10)

=√14*6*4*4

=√1334

=36.5cm^2

AREA OF QUADRILATERAL=24+36.5

=60.5cm^2
