find the area of a quadrilateral whose one diagonal is 20 cm long and the perpendiculars to this diagonal from other vertices are of length 9 cm and 15 cm .

given: d = 20 cm
h1= 9 cm
h2 = 15 cm

Area of Quadrilateral = 1/2 × d ( h1+ h2)
= 1/2 × 20 (9+15)
= 1/2 × 20 × 24
= 240 cm sq.
