Given : A rectangle

Length = 8 cm

Perimeter = 30 cm

To Find : Area of the rectangle

Solution:

Length = 8 cm

Breadth = b  cm

Perimeter of a rectangle = 2 ( Length + Breadth)

perimeter of the rectangle = 30 cm

=> 2( 8 + b) = 30

=> 8 + b = 15

=> b = 7

Area of a rectangle = Length * breadth

Area of the rectangle = 8 * 7  = 56 cm²

Area of the rectangle is 56 cm²
