Perimeter = 100 cm

Length = 35 cm

To Find :-

Area

Solution :-

We know that

Perimeter = 2(l + b)

Let the breadth be b

• 100 = 2(35 + b)
• 100 = 70 + 2b
• 100 - 70 = 2b
• 30 = 2b
• 30/2 = b
• 15 = b

Now,

Area = l × b

• Area = 35 × 15
• Area = 525 cm²
