GIVEN :

  • Diagonal = 37 Cm
  • Let us consider 35 Cm as 'Length'
  • Let the Consider 'Breadth' as 'x'
  • Area of square plot = 1024Cm²

TO FIND :

  • Find the length of wire which can go round to the boundaries = ? cm

STEP - BY - STEP EXPLANATION :

→ Diagonal = 37Cm (given)

→ Length = 35Cm (given)

→ Breadth = x

Now, here

 =  > diagonal =  \sqrt{ {l}^{2} +  {x}^{2}  }

 =  > 37 =  \sqrt{ {35}^{2} +  {x}^{2}  }

 =  >   {37}^{2}  =  {35}^{2}  +  {x}^{2}

 =  >  {x}^{2}  =  {37}^{2}  -  {35}^{2}

 =  >  {x}^{2}  = 1369 - 1225

 =  >  {x}^{2}  =  \sqrt{144}

 =  >(breadth) x = 12 \: cm

Hence, now here

★ Breadth = 12 cm

★ Length = 35cm

AREA OF RECTANGLE = LENGTH × BREADTH

=> Length × Breadth

=> 35 × 12

=> 420Cm²
