Concept

area of a rectangle is simply given by the product of its sides

area = side 1 * side 2

or area = length * breadth

Given

a rectangular park is 183/5 m long and 50/3 m broad.

Find

we need to find the area of the given rectangular park.

Solution

the park is 183/5 m long and 50/3 m broad

therefore,

length = 183/5 and breadth = 50/3

we know that the area of a rectangle is given by

area = length * breadth

area = 183/5 * 50/3

= 61*10

= 610

Thus, the area of the rectangular field is 610 meters.
