role of friction in weightlifting

weight lifting is done to strenghthen our body .if weight lifting will be done without any force then there will be no effect on our body so this is useless but as there is opposite force which acts simultaneously when we apply force make us to apply more and more energy . that is why friction is important  in weightlifting .
