Find the area of a rectangular plot, one side of which is 48 meters and its diagonal is 50 m

Length = 48 m

Diagonal = 50 m

 \sqrt{ {l}^{2}  + {b}^{2}  }  = 50   \\  {48}^{2}  +  {b}^{2}  =  {50}^{2}  \\ 2304 +  {b}^{2}  = 2500 \\  {b}^{2}  = 196 \\ b = 14

Area = Length *Width

= 14 * 48

= 672 m^2

(side of rectangle)^2=diagonal^2-side^2
=50^2-48^2
=196
side=√196
side=14m

area =l×b
area=48×14
area=672m^2
