Hi Sam243
______________________________________________________________
Rhombus:
Side= 15 cm
d1   = 24 cm
d2   = ?
1/2ar(rhombus )   = √[s(s-a)(s-b)s-c)]
                            =  √[27x 12 x 12 x 3]
                            =  √[11664]
                            =    108 cm²
Area of rhombus = 2 X 108
                           = 216 cm²

side of rhombus=15 cm
in rhombus ABCD,
diagonals AC and BD meet a point O
Triangle OAB is right angled at o
in this Hypotenuse=15 cm
one of the side = 1/2 of diagonal having length 24 cm
                        =12 cm
By using pythagoras theorem,
other side=√(15²-12²)
                =9
other diagonal=18
area of rhombus=(1/2)×d₁×d₂
                          =(1/2)×18×24
                          =216 cm²

Hope it helps u :-)
