find the area of a rhombus in which side is equal to 15cm andof whose diagnoals is 24cm?

side = 15
 In Rhombus side² =  (d1/2)² + (d2/2)²    (d1 and d2 are diagonals)
                      15²   =  (24/2)²  + (d2/2)²
                       225  = 12²+ (d2/2)²
                 225-144 =  (d2/2)²
                          81 =  (d2/2)²
                       d2/2 = √81
                           d2 = 9×2
                           d2 = 18
The area of rhombus is given by the formula 1/2× d1×d2
                                            so 1/2×24×18 = 216cm²
The area = 216cm²
