area of a rhombus=1/2*d1*d2

=1/2*10*8.2

=5*8.2{since in 1/2 and 10 denominator(2) will be cancelled with 10 so 2 becomes 1 and 10 becomes 5}

=41.0 or 41

the formula for area of rhombus = 1/2 (d1) (d2)

                        = 1/2(10)(8.2)

                    =  1/2 (82)

                   =   82/2

                   = 41cm{2}

always dont forget to put sq . units
