length of 2nd diagonal = 2 * altitude = 2 * 4.8 = 9.6cm
Area of Rhombus = 1/2 * 8 * 9.6 = 4 * 9.6 = 38.4cm^2

Question :-
Find the area of a rhombus whose side is 5 cm and whose altitude is 4.8 cm. If one of its diagonals is 8 cm long, find the length of the other diagonal.
Given :-
- Side of rhombus = 5cm
- Altitude = 4.8cm
- Diagonal = 8cm
To find :-
- Length of other diagonal ?
Solution :-
- Side = 5 cm
- Altitude = 4.8 cm
- Length of one diagonal = 8 cm
___________
Area of rhombus = side × altitude
➠ 5 × 4.8
➠ 24
Area of the rhombus = 12 × ×
➠24 = 12 × ×
➠24 = 4
➠ = 6 cm
Hence, the length of other diagonal = 6 cm
