Given :

Diagonals = 25cm and 48cm

To Find :

Area of a Rhombus

Solution :

We know that,

A Rhombus has 2 diagonals

Lets take 25cm and 48cm as,

  • Diagonal₁ ( d₁ ) = 25cm
  • Diagonal₂ ( d₂ ) = 48cm

⇒ Area of a Rhombus = 1/2 × d₁ × d₂

⇒ Area of a Rhombus = 1/2 × 25 × 48

⇒ Area of a Rhombus = 25 × 24

⇒ Area of a Rhombus = 600cm²

•°• Area of a Rhombus = 600cm²

★ More to know :

Using Diagonals :

  • A = 1/2 × d₁ × d₂

Using Base and Height :

  • A = b × h

Using Trignometry :

  • A = b² × Sin(a)
