therefore

base = 52cm

hypotenuse =65cm

 {52}^{2}  +  {adjacent}^{2}  =   {65 }^{2}  \\ 2704 +  {adjacent}^{2}  = 4225 \\  {adjacent}^{2}  = 4225 - 2704 \\  {adjacent}^{2}  = 1521 \\ adjacent =  \sqrt{1521}  = 39 \\

Therefore Adjacent side is 39cm
