Find the area of a square whose diagonal is 5√2cm.
Hint - Area = [1/2×(diagonal)square] sq units

Diagnol of square with side a = a (root2)

Side of square = a = ?
a(root2)=5(root2)
a = 5cm

Area of square = a2
= (5)square
= 25

Area of square = 25 sq cm.

Given,diagonal is 5√2 then by given formula, ==> Area,a = [0.5 * (5√2)(5√2)] ==> a = 0.5 * (25)(2) ==>0.5 *50 ==> 25
