Side of square= perimeter/4= 160/4=40
Area of square= Side*Side=40*40=1600m^2

SOLUTION

The above problem can be simply solved as follows;

Given,

Perimeter of the square = 160 meter

Let the side of the square = a

Formula to calculate the perimeter of the square = 4a

Putting the values;

4a = 160

a = 160/4 = 40 m

Formula to calculate area of square = a²

Putting the value of 'a'

Area = 40 × 40 = 1600 m²

Hence, The answer is 1600 m²
