find the area of a square whose perimeter is 20cm

Perimeter of Square = 20 cm

4 x Side = 20 cm

Side = 20/4

Side = 5 cm

Now the area of Square ,

Area of Square = Side × Side

Area of Square = ( 5 × 5 ) cm

Area of Square = 25 cm^2 ( Ans )

We can find perimeter through its formula!

Perimeter of square= 4(side)

   20                        = 4 (side)

 20/4                       = side

5                             = side

So the side of a square is 5m

Area of square =

Area  \: of square = a {}^{2}  = 5 {}^{2}  = 25cm {}^{2}
