SOLUTION:-

Given

• Vertices are (1,-2),(3,-5),(4,-5)

To Calculate

• Area of triangle

Step by step explanation

Using Formula

Area = | 1/2{x1(y2-y3)+x2(y3-y1)+x3(y1-y2)}|

The Coordinators of the vertices of triangle are

A ( x1, y1) ➩ 1 , -2

B ( x2,y2) ➯ 3,-5

C (x3,y3) ➩ 4,-5

Area = | 1/2{x1(y2-y3)+x2(y3-y1)+x3(y1-y2)}|

Putting values,

➨ 1/2 | {1(-5-(-5))+3(-5-(-2))+4(-2-(-5))}|

➨ 1/2 | { 1(-5+5)+3(-5+2)+4(-2+5)}|

➨ 1/2 | { 1×0+3×(-3)+4×(3)

➨ 1/2 |{ 0-9+12}|

➨ 1/2 | { 3} |

➨ 1/2×3

➨ 3/2

➨ 1.5 sq. units

Hence

➛ Area = 1.5 sq. units
