Answer:

The area of the trapezium will be 225 cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

Here the parallel sides of a trapezium are given to be 20 cm and 25 cm

Also, the distance between the parallel sides is given to be 10 cm

We have to find the area of the trapezium

area of trapezium = (1/2) × sum of parallel sides × height

= (1/2) × (20+25) × 10

= (1/2) × 45 × 10

= 45 × 5

= 225 cm²

Answer: area of trapezium = 1/2 * distance between two parallel sides * ( sum of two parallel sides)

therefore here

area = 1/2 * 15 * (24+20)

= 1/2 * 15 * 44

= 22 *15

330 sqcm
