aim : to find the area of a triangle if the perimeter is 168cm and sides are in the ratio 15:14:13

let it be 15x ,14x and 13x

perimetr = side+side +side

so,

168 = 15x+14x+13x

168 = 42x

x = 168/42

x = 4

so 

15x = 60

13x = 52

14x = 56

so the sides are 60 ,52 and 56

s = p/2 = 168/2 = 84 cm

Area = √s(s - a)(s - b)(s - c)

 √84(84  - 60)(84 - 56)(84 - 52)

√84 *14*18* 22

√84* 5544

=> 682.41 cm²
