Find the area of a triangle of two sides of
which are 8 cm and 11 cm and the perimeter is

First we find the third side with the help of perimeter .

we know that the perimeter of triangle = A+B+C = 8+11+C = 32.

C=13.

Since we find all three sides of triangle .

Then we calculate the area of triangle by using Heron's formula.

So we first calculate S=A+B+C/2=16.

Now we find area of triangle= √S(S-A)(S-B)(S-C)=8√30cm
