First side of the tnangle = a = 18 cm Second side of the triangle = b = 10 cm Third side of the tnangie =

a+b =18+ 10 =28cm Perimeter of the trangle = a+b +c = 42cm

Hence, c¢ = 420m 28cm = 14cm

Also,

Now, by Heron's formula,

Area of the triangle = A= s(s--a)(s-b)(s-¢) A= 21(21-18)(21-10)(21-14)

A= 21x3x11x7

A= 21x21x11

A =21y11 cm
